Had an appointment for 9AM (when the shop opens)— Showed up to a closed shop and when I called he told me he’d get there at 10:30AM. I was under the impression that since I had an appointment from earlier that I’d be seen right away. I arrive 7-minutes early and he’s already cutting someone else’s hair and had someone else in line right after.
I’ve gone to this dude in the past and have generally been pretty understanding with the long wait times to be seen, the vape smoke being blown in your face and the time it takes to have your hair done but this was a non-negotiables for me. Super unprofessional and really frustrating to have that amount of time be wasted from your day.
Admittedly, he cuts hair well but that’s about it.
Excellent work done here. I was just passing through randomly and ended up getting one of the best cuts I've ever had. I don't even live here, but I'll be coming back!!
I had an appointment for a haircut at 9 a.m. this morning. 9 a.m. is the time the shop opens. He wasn't there. No one was there. I'm giving three stars instead of one star because I know that things can come up unexpectedly, and if I were a regular customer, I'd probably understand. But this was my first appointment.
And my last.
Great haircut. Nice laid back place with Rich the owner taking his time with each customer. Will go back to keep up this cut.
Rich is an attentive and excellent barber! Walked right in and he communicated beautifully to make sure my daughter got exactly what she wanted.
Richard is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I will recommend him to everyone.
Best barber in ABQ. Normally folks say your haircut looks better three days after as it grows in a bit. Not here. Richard is an artist. I came in with a mess of a head of hair after two months without a proper cut. He made it look fresh and clean. Great atmosphere and music at his shop. A true barber. Good conversation and an awesome haircut. My boyfriend and I go there as our primary barber. Great shop. Give him a try and you’ll be coming back.
Man one of the best barber's I have met!!! It's 40 for a haircut but you get what you pay for!!!!! Look at the pics of his work! Takes his time and he beena barber for 15 years!!! I'll be back Goodfellas! Till we meet again
